You’ll get a few text field variations as results, but what we’re after here is a single Text Field control. Click on the Objects Library button in Xcode’s toolbar and search for a text field. At the time being there’s no content in the view controller, so let’s add a text field. In the starter Xcode project open the Main.storyboard file to reveal the Interface Builder. Instead we’ll focus only on the most important ones, those that are being usually set or are the most probable to be set. That would be totally pointless as there are so many of them, and usually not all properties need to be configured. Note that we won’t go through an exhaustive presentation of all available properties that text controls provide.
